This reduction linocut print is part of my Cocoon Series (see more in this Series under the heading Gallery on my website). Inspired by the human desire to cocoon within nature, I have used the female form to convey calm, solitude and beauty. I have included birds to create an environment that conveys that we (humans) are part of nature and can live in the natural world in harmony with animals.
