Shell Haven IV
This reduction linocut print was inspired by my local environment. As I take my daily walk along the beach I am always greeted by seagulls swooping, gliding or squawking amongst themselves. Always, peppered along the beach are a variety of seashells. As part of my Cocoon Series of prints I wanted to convey that humans aren't the only species looking for refuge and retreats but other animals as well. Hence, the seagull seeking refuge in a shell!
